    That's an interesting question! From my experience, Insurance Groups are a rough guide, but they don’t always reflect the exact premium. Even with the same group rating, factors like the car's value, your location, and your personal driving history can have a significant impact. For example, the Skoda may be a slightly newer model, and that could explain the higher premium despite both being in Group 11. I’ve seen cases where older cars with similar ratings still end up being cheaper to insure due to factors like safety ratings or lower repair costs. It’s always a bit of a balancing act with insurance!
    They're not really good even for a rough guide when a group 50 car is £500/year cheaper to insure than a group 27 car.
