Carers allowance for both.

Both myself and my wife get high rate daily living pip she has the LWCRA too, i get ESA and Carers allowance for caring for her, i work part time but have been put on LWCRA as well but as she gets it we would suffer financially if i give up work despite having severe heart and mobility issues, does anyone know if she can also claim carers allowance for herself for looking after me or will that go against us and contradict our PIP reports?
Obviously i risk my health by working but we cannot afford for me not to at the moment as we'd lose my wages and not receive anything to compensate for this.
any advice would be great thanks.

Carers Allowance is deducted in full from your UC award so there is no financial gain to claiming.
Your wife cannot get Carers Element (UC) for looking after you as she gets payment for LCWRA. The same person cannot get paid for both.
If you don't already you can claim Carers Element under UC for looking after her.
1x LCWRA & 1 CE is the maximum entitlement under UC for a couple.4
