Hi, bought a De'Longhi 4 slice toaster from seller on Amazon on 26th March 25 toaster now trips the electrics in house when using the right side option and yes have tried it in different sockets, the seller states that I must contact De'Longhi to have it repaired under the one year warranty, just would like to be advised is this correct or should it be returned to seller?

Your consumer right, if it is inherently faulty, is for the trader to have it replaced or repaired. The consumer rights act doesn't say he has to do it with his own hands, and many retailers do not know one end of a screwdriver from the other.
Having the manufacturer fix it makes sense and is quite legal. However the trader remains responsible overall.
Many people enjoy a toasted hot cross bun around Easter. Are you quite, quite sure that you don't have the charred remains of a juicy sultana stuck in the faulty side?2 -
OP you have 90 days to open an A-Z claim on Amazon, this is the easiest answerIn the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0

Just to give some unwanted information, we were going through toasters at the rate of one a year. Until I bought a Dualit 25 years ago, which is still working. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1
