Neco garage door not working

Hello - our house which we moved into recently has a Neco electric roller garage door. Said door has just stopped working after I partially rolled it up, but not sure if it is user error (not had an electric door before) or if it needs repairing.

I have checked the battery on the fob. It flashes red when I push a button so it is generating a signal, but nothing happens. I have pushed the buttons on the console unit on the garage wall....again nothing. There are only 3 buttons - up, down and stop, and none of them work. There still must be power going to the door as the motion sensor (to see if something is blocking the door) is clicking when I wave my hand in front of it.

I've turned the power to the door off for 10 minutes, and back on - nothing happens.

Cannot think what else to test. It's just odd that I was able to roll it up, and then a few minutes later I can't roll it down.

Is there anything else I need to try before calling someone out? I've googled but can't find any troubleshooting or manuals for that make.

Thanks.

Yes, there is a manual override so I have managed to shut it.

You Tube may help -  lots of bits and bobs there

Search     "neco garage door remote programming"

Thanks - but that is to pair a remote. Neither the remote OR the main console works.

I don't know if this helps but, when something similar happened to mine (not a Neco) it was because the little sensor box near ground level needed a new battery. I'd discounted that as the problem because it seemed to have life in it but changing that battery had it working again just fine.

Is the sensor box for the obstruction sensors? Our sensor strips are powered by the mains....I have given them a clean, and they beep if I put my hand in the way, so they seem to be working ok.

I think it must be the motor. I opened the wall console and checked the fuse. The lights in the console were working (when pressing fob buttons), so I can only think it is the motor. 😵‍💫
