TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “KISS FM UK X KARATE KID LEGENDS BREAKFAST PROMO” (the “Competition”).

1.Entry ROUTES and Costs

2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN 

 

2.1 THE ON AIR COMPETITION PRE-REGISTRATION 

 

Pre-registration for this competition is open from Monday 19th May 2025 at 00:01 am and closes Thursday 29th May 2025 at 11.00 am. 

 

In order to enter contestants must:

• Anyone interested in taking part in this competition must register their details on the competition page accurately and agree to these terms and conditions. 
• Entrants will need to be willing and available to play on-air during the ‘in-play’ competition week (see section 3 for entry period). 
• Registering to take part in this competition does not provide any guarantee that you will come on-air or win a prize. 

 

2.2 SHORTLISTING AND BEING INVITED TO PLAY THE ON-AIR GAME: 

 

Randomly selected semi-finalists will be contacted by the production team from Friday 23rd May 2025 to Thursday 29th May 2025, and invited on-air to play during the week of promotion (Tuesday 27th May – Friday 30th May 2025, between 6:00 am (the “Start Time”) and 10:00 am (“End Time).   

 

The semi-finalists should follow instructions given by the studio, in order to bring them to air and play the competition. A specific time will be given by the producers to the semi-finalist for the day they will be taking part. If any of the shortlisted entrants cannot make the agreed dates, they will forfeit their chance to enter the next round, and the production team will move on to another randomly selected entrant from the shortlist and repeat the process until they have found someone that can play in the on-air game. 

 

Becoming a semi-finalist or finalist does not mean you are a winner, nor does it mean you will receive the prize, but you will have qualified for the next stage of the competition should you be available to participate when called by the production team. 

 

2.3 THE COMPETITION 

 

Once one (1) contestant has randomly been selected, they will be invited on air to participate in the competition. Each day, a new contestant will be selected to play.     

 

2.4 HOW TO WIN 

 

Each day there will be one (1) competition round. In the competition round, the presenters (Jordan and Perri), will go head-to-head and take it in turns to ‘throw’ insults at each other for thirty (30) seconds. The contestant's role will be to decide at the end of the thirty (30) seconds, who delivered the biggest punches and toughest insults.   There is no right or wrong answer in this competition. It is completely subjective and down to the contestant's own opinion. 

 

Each day, Jordan and Perri will have a different prize each to award (outlined in section 5). Whichever presenter the contestant selects as the winner, will reward their prize to the contestant.  

 

The KISS Production Team reserve the right to pre-record any part of this competition with contestants before the 'as-live' broadcast 

 

If the contestants win the prize and it is subsequently discovered that they do not fulfil these specific terms and conditions, nor the general competitions terms and condition, they will be disqualified. 3. ENTRY PERIOD  

 

Entries must be submitted during the following entry period: 

 

From Monday 19th May 2025 at 00:01 (the “Start Time”) to Thursday 29th May at 11.00 (“End Time”) 

 

Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.  

 

The on-air competition will air during the KISS Breakfast Show between 06:00 – 10:00 on: 

• Tuesday 27th May 
• Wednesday 28th May 
• Thursday 29th May 
• Friday 30th May 

 

All contestants must be available to play between Tuesday 27th May and Friday 30th May 2025, between the hours of 06:00 am (the “Start Time”) and 10:00 am (“End Time). Exact timing will be confirmed by the producer.  

 

 

3.1 Winner Announcement 

The name and the hometown of the final contestants will be announced on The KISS Breakfast Show during each competition round. 

 

If an entrant is successfully deemed a winner, the team will be in touch with them within 28 working days to arrange delivery of the prize. However, if the winner cannot be contacted within 28 days from the date of the initial attempt to contact them/the on-air draw, then we will re-draw until we draw a winner that we are satisfied (in Bauer’s sole discretion) fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms. 

 

 

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS  

• Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry.  
• Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. 
• We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.

• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable.
