ncp following hospital visir

Options
I have been visiting a relative at a secure hospital in Walsall .Their car park has signs clearly saying that you must sign in to obtain permission to park there. The signing in proces is to enter your registration within 30 minutes of parking. Aware of this organisations reputation I have been careful to always sign in but I have now received a notification of a fine from them. Visiting the hospital yesterday the signing in machine was completley out of order. A member of staff went somewhere else and assured me that I had been signed. They also admitted that visitors are taking photographs when they sign in as I am not the first person to have this problem. Unfortunately I didn't do this when the incident in question took place. I appealed on the grounds that the equipment was unreliable but guess what this was rejected. I now have the chance to appeal to an 'independent' ajudicator but i am not holding my breath. I am living in dread of receiving another notification from them.Any suggestions on how i should procede appreciated.

POPLA isn't independent. I rarely bother when friends get these joke invoices and another option is to just ignore NCP (see the fourth post of the NEWBIES thread for pics of letters to ignore and laugh at).

You won't be paying it even if you lose but you need a picture of that out of order notice as evidence, whether you try POPLA or not.

Private parking charges are nothing more than an invoice. Clued-up people never ever pay them.

You don't pay nor dread the laughable letters shown in pictures in the fourth post of the NEWBIES thread. Which we won't link because you can click to it in a second.

You do mean NCP, not NPC, yes?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Get onto the management at the hospital,  or PALS if they have one, and get them to cancel the PCN,  ASAP

Did you admit to driving or imply it? You could have won at POPLA v NCP if not.
