Santander edge have l activated DD?

Another thought entered my mind, and so yet another question.
I recently converted my Everyday current accounts to an Edge account with Santander, which l initially opened for the switch offer, which I've now received.
When the account was a Everyday one, there were two DDs because of the switch terms. I've now cancelled the DD, which l done BEFORE l converted into an Edge account.
So.....Will l be charged the monthly fee for having had DD active in the account???
My online history is exactly the same before the conversion.

The requirements to be charged the Edge account fee are as follows: pay in £500+ and have 2x DD payments be taken from the account. If you do this even once, then you will be charged the monthly fee on-going while you hold the Edge account.Bob2000 said:Another thought entered my mind, and so yet another question.

Given you've cancelled the DDs before converting to an Edge account you will be fine. As long as you don't set up new ones you will be okay.1 -
That's good to know. Thank you for the clarification.PRAISETHESUN said:

Did you cancel DD with the actual companies or cancel via Santander?Bob2000 said:Another thought entered my mind, and so yet another question.

I had a email from the 50p one. saying that they would stop taking from the account. But nothing from the other one.
So far, nothing else been taken, and they were due on the 4th and 6th if they had.0
