Glad all went well TA. X
Gers and AA hope the invigilating goes well.

Went out for lunch yesterday to somewhere I hadn't been to yet with a friend. It was very nice and reasonably priced. 

DD had her car back on Tuesday evening so I didn't have to be awake with the larks for DGD early mornings.

Decidedly chilly here today and very Cloudy so think dinner will be indoors later.
DH didn't try his  new recipe with fish on the BBQ so that may happen today as well.

Really want to try my carpet cleaner this week as it hasn't yet been out of it's box yet!
Think that will be a job for tomorrow.

DH wants to to get some more bird food today, I think yhe birds are better fed than we do when I look at how much we seem to buy a month lol.

Morning all

Slept a bit better last night but still feel shattered so have taken the day off I have never been a good sleeper but Tuesday night was terrible, thanks for the good wishes xx

i have some washing in the wm so will hang that out soon and I need to nip to the chemist later to collect my tablets, and then walk the dogs.

Dinner tonight will be pizza I got some GF pizza bases from sainsbugs so will make them up later, OH will be thrilled, I think I will get the makings of some coleslaw while I am out I love coleslaw but don’t like the shop bought ones.

I am still on the case of the missing pensions I have found more paperwork so will continue to chase them today I think I may have a lot more saved than I thought 😃

TA glad all went well perhaps get the lens taken out as Polly suggested xx

Morning all

No sun this morning so that wind feels even colder!

All behind this morning as I've been on the phone with my old work colleague.  We normally chat a couple of times a week but it was a 2 hour marathon this morning!  Mainly discussing ailments amongst our families :-(

Just done a quick hoover and dust downstairs, now sitting down with a coffee.  Going to do some investigations on savings as one of mine has matured and I'm certainly not leaving it where it only gets 1% interest!

Glad you survived the cataract op @TravellingAbuela I remember the same problem with my glasses but I wasn't as bad as you seem to be finding it although it's early days yet.

Glad you survived TA like the others I didn’t notice too much difference,hope it settles soon 
A busy day spent driving DGS from and to uni town for an orthodontist appointment ,seems to be going on for ages ,have driven 240 miles today and I feel it .
next time he is getting the train as I have a prior appointment,could suggest he does that every time ,but this way means I get to see and talk to him !
