Long before Evri came on the scene, DHL was known as "drop it, hide it, lose it".They deserve one another

To be fair, a lot depends on the individual couriers. Never had any complaints about our Evri lady.2

I don't have too much to do with DHL but have deliveries from them occasionally. One thing I've noticed is that they have had a lot of the same drivers for years. Other courier companies, Royal Mail and Parcelforce aside, tend to have a high turnover of staff.Silvertabby said:To be fair, a lot depends on the individual couriers. Our local Evri delivery personnel awful. There's constant "does anyone recognise this front door" posts on our community Facebook.0

Our Evri driver isn't as good as the last one but they're consistent so we know what to expect. The main issue is they don't come out here until they have enough parcels to make it worthwhile so we regularly get one or two false 'delivery attempted' notifications with clearly impossible reasons, but when they do come the parcels are delivered just fine. I'd honestly prefer that than someone who always comes out but then misdelivers or leaves them in the garden over the hedge, for instance.0

It sounds a complex transaction... Evri are only getting DHL eCommerce UK operations, they arent buying DHL Express for example but then there are more shenanigans of DHL taking a minority stake in Evri and giving them access to some of their international network etcjeffuk said:0
