Best wins…. Inspiration for the quiet spells

I've been comping for a long, long time now and as everyone says, enter and forget, and if you get a winning email/phonecall/letter then it is a bonus and a lovely surprise. Some years have been fantastic for me, some years have been without a single prize, but if you keep at it then eventually you will win. In no particular order, some of my memorable lucky wins are:Skiing holiday in Villars, SwitzerlandRover Metro GTiWorld Cup tripStobo Castle Spa breakPeugeot 106XTLondon Theatre breakSkiing holiday in Les Menuires, FranceMonaco holiday in the FairmontCellar of Penfold wines (84 bottles)Paralympics Opening Ceremony trip
Knock Castle/Famous Grouse Experience break£23000 Hits radioNo. 6 Festival tripAmalfi Coast, Italy holidayRod Stewart concertKatie Melua concertTVs, Games consoles and lots more
Good luck to all.5 -
My best win was an iPhone 16 this year with a years free unlimited contract with smarty.
This was a radio competition and when they phoned I asked could my husband do the quiz on air because I was too nervous and they agreed.2 -
One of my best wins was a long while ago, when I'd only enter a handful of competitions and rarely ever online. I'd sent off a completed word search from one of those puzzle magazines in the post. A while later, I got a cheque for £1000 which was a very big surprise.
I got a 'Product of the Year' goodie bag this year, which was very useful (I used some things myself and the rest I shared with family).
I'd love to win a holiday, that's what I keep trying for at the moment!1 -
I guess the prize I remember the most was a week in a villa in Minorca, own pool 2 minutes fron lovely quiet bay.1
