Best wins…. Inspiration for the quiet spells

Thought it would be nice to share our best/favourite wins to inspire new compers & to motivate regulars in our quiet moments😊

My favourite win was a voucher to spend in Brighton at a lovely restaurant, me and my family had a lovely fancy meal & didn’t cost us a penny! My ‘biggest’ win was a £500 cheque in the post!

Some years ago now but my best (and probably also biggest in terms of value) was a weekend in Oban. It included travel by train, two nights in a 5-star hotel, a castle visit, a distillery visit with a couple of bottles of whisky to bring home, cash towards meals at a local restaurant etc.

Sounds like a great weekend...but my parents had an upcoming special anniversary and I'd asked if I could give it to them which they were fine with. so I didn't actually go haha.

The parents had a brilliant time up there though.

I enjoy trips the best. I've won two similar trip prizes which are joint favourites:
- Trip to Amsterdam, included flights, transfers, hotel, boat trip, spending money and one evening meal (Won on Magic Radio)
- Trip to a European Christmas market - included flights, transfer, hotel, spending money, trip to an attraction and one evening meal (this one was during covid so got rearranged about 3 times and had to change location each time too! Ended up going to Barcelona). Won on MyVodafone

Having a very dry spell at the moment so thanks for this post!

My favourite prize has to be my Lenovo Legion Go, I use it every day and I would have never been able to own one if I hadn't of won it! It's a brilliant piece of tech!

My best win was a 4 night break to Singapore with Kuoni (travel etc all included) - that was about 12 years ago now! I also won £1000 about a week after I started comping and a Jet2 Holiday to Madeira last year 😎

5 nights in Ras Al-Khaimah & 5 Nights in the Maldives. I had the best time. I don't think I ever would have gone to Ras Al-Khaimah has I not won it (never heard of it before), now I would thoroughly recommend it! It's also made me really want to go to Dubai which previously I had no interest in. Won this last year.
Had to pay for my own holiday this year! *sigh* 

Years supply of cat food was also a good one, just for the money saved. 

Also my Panasonic TV, just because it was my second win (the first being an In the night Garden colouring sheet) and I was so excited to have won something like that.

Best for me was a week to Abu Dhabi. At the airport we got paid to take a slightly later flight including seat upgrades and when we got to the hotel we also got a room upgrade to a sea view room.

Best win I gave to my husband and son were tickets to a concert in somebodies front room by the National.

This year has been quiet for prizes, but just received an email that I have won a David Austin rose, from a Cosmipolitan competition.  Looking forward to receiving this.

Mine was 7 nights all inclusive in the Maldives inc flights. A prize worth £10k. Also got £1500 spending money. Don’t think I’ll better that. Haven’t won anything significant since.

My favourite win was a baby bath from Snuggle one of those ones that's like a mini slipper bath where they sit up. Used it for both my kids and got some fabulous bathtime pictures. My bigest win was £10,000 of desinger clothes and from Amanda Wakley, that was fabulous and i still have everything and wear it often.

Nice thread, very motivating to read through peoples' wins and how much they enjoyed them.  My best win (several years ago now) was a 4 day trip to San Francisco including flights, transfers, hotel stay, Alcatraz trip and GoCar experience (little cars you can drive round for an hour - great fun).  My husband and I had an amazing time and have some great memories.  Still can't believe I actually won it.
