PCN Hospital Employer

I received the PCN just before a holiday. I've heard others have ignored them before, so I just put it out of my mind and ignored it. I've just received the Notice of Debt recovery. I should be writing to my employer firstly to ask them to cancel it? I need to write to First Parking? Or to the debt collector?

Presumably I use the template stating I'm the owner/keeper but not accepting responsibility. I don't intend to pay this, I was parked at the end of a row of cars and there were no markings to demonstrate it wasn't an approved bay. All other rows had traffic cones but mine didn't and the bay markings for all other bays are unclear and faded.

    What does that mean?

When a parking company farms out the collection of their silly fees to a so called debt collector the period for appealing it has past, not that there was any real hope of appealing it though as it's a scam anyway.

You can safely ignore it. That letter appears in the fourth post of the NEWBIES FAQS thread.

Read a few more threads.  :)

You can just ignore and await a claim, as long as you don't do something like ignore court papers or move house and fail to tell them. Do not do that!

Defending a claim is ten times EASIER than POPLA appeal would have been and there is zero risk and 99% win likely.

And F1rst aren't especially litigious and DCB group pretty much always drop claims when defended. Nothing to worry about. No risk.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
