I'm so glad you did get your refund, but just to be clear please don't  close an item not as described return in future, until you have been refunded, as you could be left badly out of pocket.  The seller doesn't need you to close a return to refund, and if they issue the refund through the return case it will close automatically.

I've just had a shoddy item delivered today. Nothing like the picture, supposed to be cotton,  and was 100% polyester.  I didn't even bother with the seller, just opened a return selected item doesn't match description and added a photo of the dress label (with 100% polyester on it),   I was immediately given the free  return label to print. Its going in the post tomorrow. No messing.   If seller doesn't refund I will simply ask ebay to step in.   Needless to say I will be leaving clear feedback once the refund comes through.

On the off chance someone sees this and decides to reply, I've edited the title.
It's likely only for my curiosity, as I'd already considered the case closed.

I ended up leaving some negative feedback for the seller, mainly due to their behaviour. Unsurprisingly, they weren't happy, and left a reply themselves. I was expecting it, but not for them to openly lie while doing so!

I had to laugh when they noted that us humans make mistakes. I'd pointed that out to them 2 days into my SNAD, and now they're quoting it back to me. I also mentioned on the SNAD that most of us tend to admit the mistakes rather than try and worm their way out.

I got a little annoyed though, when in their reply to my review, they claimed to have given me a full refund (they offered 25%)
Then they claimed to have sent me another batch of t-shirts FOC. I can't disprove this, as they could be 'lost in the post', but I haven't received any, and as this is the first mention of it, I'm assuming it's another lie.

To top it all, they sent me a request to change my feedback. (insert laughing smilie)

I know duplicate listings are rife on eBay, but do eBay ever bother about it?
I think one of the reasons this seller has problems is that they have multiple listings (possibly more than 10) for the same item, so if they sell out of something, they're not updating all the listings, so people are buying out of stock items.
The listings are set up to look different, just by using the drop down selection boxes in different ways, but they're all for the same items. I even tried to be helpful and advise the seller. They updated a few of the listings, but two weeks on, still have a couple for the 'out of stock' item that started this.
