Possibly discontinue but no email confirmation

Hi everyone, I don't know if anyone can help with this but thought I'd ask anyway.
My husband has a claim which was due to be heard this week, 13th May.
I tried to contact the court to see if this was going ahead but it was routed through to a central contact centre. The person I spoke to said it had been discontinued and no need to attend. But I haven't had any emails. I did email the court to check but not heard back yet. When i log into the moneyclaim online, theres no update there.
Does anyone know of any other way I can check? Should my husband still go to court on the day?
Many thanks

Mcol transferred it to the local civil court the Defendant named on the N180 DQ document months ago, so will never be updated because they are no longer involved, never have been since the transfer date
Many people mention no email received, usually due to it going into their spam folder ( because they have not added the email address to their safe list ) , so my advice is to check the spam folder as well as the inbox, plus emailing dcb legal for a copy of the N279 NoD document too
Assuming that they discontinued, it's reasonable to assume that they emailed the N279 to the defendant, so it went somewhere

Yep check spam and junk emails and if you have it, show us please.
If not, email the legal firm for a copy - and show us please!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@Coupon-mad yep, DCB Legal.
I will add that if it wasn't for this forum I'd have convinced my husband to pay up at the start. It felt that it would be the easiest thing to.

Thank you @FabB for the copy of your NoD. I can now get this counted in the DCBL Legal thread of shame. 👍Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
