Hello,
Could someone explain to me how I can bring my partner to Northern Ireland?
Is it only on the basis of a work visa or are there other options?
Thank you

Not sure this is the right forum and I don't know the answer to your question as it will depend on where your partner is now and what kind of partner they are.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. On what basis are you in N.Ireland? A UK Citizen?
What is their current nationality?
How long have you been together?0 -
I have settled status.
Partner is Polish
We are together less than one year0 -
That is not a long enough relationship to bring them over on a family visa.the Home Office’s requirement: “The relationship must have begun by 31 December 2020 and must still be ongoing when applying.” Of course, you must be able to evidence this.

So with that route not open then it would need to be a work or education based visa on her own rights.0 -
Do you live close to the border? She still has the right to live and work in the Republic of Ireland, under the laws on freedom of movement. You could visit each other every day...0
