DCB Legal claim Discontinued

Hi all,
I wanted to say a massive thanks to the forum for all the support and guidance. The PCN was issued in 2020 (pandemic). Like many, I received the notices and eventually a claim form last summer. I followed the process and the claim was transferred to Manchester. A hearing date was issued for next month.
I went to mediation and offered £0.00.
I then received a reduced offer of "£80.00 reduced from the initial 303.00 odd sought which i ignored. 2 weeks later and ! received an email with a notice to discontinue per their client's instructions.
To all the advisers I say thank you! and to anyone who received a notice of intent to issue proceedings, fight on!

It's a shame that there aren't greater consequences for discontinuing after so long and after the OP wasted so much time on it.2

Got it.Thank you @Noseysue for the copy of your NoD. I can now get this counted in the DCBL Legal thread of shame. And extremely well done in following the advice via the forum guidance Announcements and seeing this pair off without any direct input from regulars .👍Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
