We are about to launch our new social enterprise & are looking for recommendations for bank accounts.
Previous experience with some of the high street banks haven't been good so would like on-line banks.
An account only needs to be for membership fees, likely sales, donations, etc.
Is there such an acount?

Lloyds have been fairly good from my experience but the right account for your would depend on things such as the nature of your social enterprise and the turnnover0

'Social Enterprise' is a little ambiguous. How will your organisation be incorporated? (E.g. limited company, registered charity, a club/society etc.)0

Lloyds now charge for a community account.0

rb1 beat me to it.
Are you looking for a free account or are you happy to pay?0 -

They are called community accountsThe banks find them a pain in the neck to run as they just cost money and they will get no extra "sales" from their use - such as cross selling of other finance products.Mostly they still run them because HMG/FCA has leant on them to do so.As a result you will only find them being offered by the mainstream bank types - not the so called new "challenger online only banks" who don't want or can afford the overhead and hassle of running them.We use Natwest and have found the ordeal of changing signatures when someone leaves the committee simply dreadful, another group I was involved in as Treasurer a decade plus ago used Barclays and I recall much the same!0
