Maturity 1 year bond cash early.

This isn't really a problem, but I just looked on my main current account  to find my 1 year bond as already been deposited  with interest when it was due to mature  Monday 12th.

I gave instructions  on the 5th to close the account on the maturity  date.

Like l already said, the interest is what l was expected it to be, but will l have lost 2 days interest??

The account  is with an Islamic  bank if that is important.

If they have paid the profit for the full term then you haven't lost anything by them paying it to you now.

Edit : If you can now move it into another savings account then you can get 1/2 days of extra return!
