What country is the skyline in the alternating photo?
A. Spain
B. Portugal
C. France
There is too little detail and the options are too wide to begin looking for the answer! Guessing is probably the way to go!

When I've used a screenshot of the image and asked Gemini, it's best guess, when given the three countries, is that it's possibly Vilamoura in Portugal. It's not a sure thing though.10

I don't think it is Vilamoura - the skyline is not a good match, and Vilamoura beach in front of the high rise buildings has very prominent stone groynes which are not seen in the puzzle picture.obeygiant1987 said:When I've used a screenshot of the image and asked Gemini, it's best guess, when given the three countries, is that it's possibly Vilamoura in Portugal. I've used zoom enhance in Google Photos which has made a decent difference to the image and Gemini still thinks it's most likely Portugal while being less specific about where in Portugal it might be.

"Based on the visual evidence in the image, the location depicted is most likely Portugal. The image showcases a coastal city with a wide, sandy beach and a backdrop of modern medium to high-rise buildings. This style of development is very typical of the resort towns found in the Algarve region of Portugal.Locations in the Algarve such as Quarteira, Praia da Rocha (in Portimão), and Vilamoura feature skylines and beachfronts that closely resemble the scene in your photograph when viewed from the sea. These areas are characterized by their extensive beaches lined with contemporary hotels and apartment complexes. While some coastal areas in Spain and France also have modern developments, the specific combination of the beach's appearance, the style and density of the buildings, and the overall atmosphere aligns most closely with the well-known tourist destinations along Portugal's southern coast. The image is very similar to other images of this region."10 -

Benidorm has more and higher skyscrapers, and unmissable hills behind. Benidorm's sand is darker.Hopeful_Dreamer said:Could it be the benidorm coastline?4
