DMP or try to attack debt myself
Comments

Focus on one thing at a time.
I'd suggest starting with the Santander overdraft. Although, RAS is right - the Monzo loan is smaller and high apr.
As you clear each debt, post here or start a new thread on the diaries section.0 -
Appreciate what your saying dankemp, I do understand its not going to be an easy ride. Going to review the food bill over the next few weeks now I have some consistency in my routine and can analyse it in more depth.
Going to have to agree to disagree on not getting my haircut but I will be seeking out cheaper alternatives.
Agree on the selling items RAS, have listed some today and will list the rest during this week.
Debt is a discussion point in therapy for sure and im up for the challenge and exploring why I got here in the first place.
0% periods are below, thanks for all the comments so far it is has been very helpful.

I also just want to check it seems the consensus here is that I that I can do this without a DMP?0

That mainly depends on your being able to firstly not use cards any more and secondly clearing or refinance the 0% cards. Give this a go, but hose are your warning flags that this isnt going work.0

You may be able to do it without a DMP but it will take a lot of hard work and you need to keep a close eye on it and be honest about whether you are actually getting on top of it or are justconvincing yourself that you are. I put off starting a DMP for years as I'd convinced myself that I was taking care of it but actually I was getting nowhere. I was stuck in a perpetual "this month was a one off but I'll be much better next month" loop.Maybe you could put your overall debt level into a spreadsheet and create a graph from that. That might help you visualise just how much progress you are or aren't making, and help you decide if you need to double down on your efforts or take another approach.0
