Barratt Part Ex

Has anyone any experience of Barrett's solicitors holding up exchanges on a part ex?
We’re 14 weeks since reservation, double the time of Barretts own timetable they expected us to follow to exchange. We’ve supplied everything our solicitors have asked of us and they are telling us everything is ready for exchange. Every time our solicitors push to exchange they keep getting random questions back from Barratt's solicitors seeking info about our current house they already have or that isn’t relevant to our part ex.
Has anyone else experienced this? Definitely if this was reversed, Barratt would be threatening to pull the plug on the reservation. I feel like they have us over a barrel though and not sure what we can do to get them to exchange.

Are you sure the Barratt home has reached practical completion?
Perhaps your new home isn't ready yet?1 -

We were told exchange would need to happen 7 weeks from us reserving the new home. We’re now 14 weeks in and Barratt’s solicitors are causing the delay.
Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this when they part ex’d and if there’s any advice on getting Barratt to speed up.
