Hello, I have a letter from Moorside Legal on behalf of Alliance Parking.  This is from a supposed parking fine I picked up in 2019 (pre pandemic).  At the time I contacted the Pizza restaurant we ate at who said they would contact the parking company and let them know we were customers.  Nothing was sent again on this matter for years.  5 years pass and I start to get letters from Alliance Parking and I have ignored them all, now I have a letter from Moorside (this is my third) proposing a payment plan in installments, stating "It is important you understand that if this offer is not accepted, or if you choose not to engage with us on this matter, our client may have no choice to issue a county court claim"

I am minded to ignore as this is not a pre-claim notice but keen to understand if I should or if not, what I should send them

If its not a Letter of Claim,  ignore them 

The next one will be an LoC,  in which case email the LoC response template shown in the second post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum by coupon mad 

After that, prepare yourself for a court claim

Which month in 2019?  You're getting close to the 6 year limit after which the "debt" will be statute barred.
