Holiday Inn via Holiday Extras substantial change (booked on App)

Three weeks ago I booked a "pre-cruise package" costing £276:  one night B&B at the Holiday Inn Eastleigh inc 15 nights parking inc taxi transfers to and from Southampton Cruise Port via Holiday Extras. I did this exact package in 2024 (£204) and 2023 (£235). Yesterday I had a text message telling me of "updated information". Check in time is now 3pm not 2pm, check out time is now 11am not 12 noon and taxi transfer is one way only (from hotel to port). It is now my responsibility to book and pay for taxi from Southampton Port to Holiday Hotel Eastleigh. I estimate paying for the taxi transfer will cost me £25-£35, on top of the £276 I've already paid. I've messaged Holiday Extras to protest but I guess there is nothing I can do. Because Holiday Extras is an App, I don't have "anything in writing" stating what is included in my booking. Indeed, my other two (now passed) bookings say one-way transfers!!! Even tho at that time I got two-way transfers included. Darn technology!  If the Holiday Inn are doing this, it won't be long til the other pre-cruise hotels in the area do the same.

We have had similiar changes to a booking we have made it’s a bit sneaky. We have changed our booking to a different hotel

There are no other hotels stay/park/taxi available on that date! Seems that most people park at the port. I'm too old to risk driving that far (from Yorkshire) on the day I sail. Wish I'd booked cruise-line coach transfers now (except they have terrible reviews!)

Drive and stay one night close to the port (you could even use the hotel you have booked and cancel the parking) then use port car parking the next day.
