£4.99 each in Aldi and on Ebay for upwards of £23.99 for 2, just seems wrong to me and a bit sad.  I guess its on Aldi if they don't limit how many one person can buy.

    Thanks for responses, very interesting.
Even if they limit, nothing stops someone buying to resell at a profit.

I think with buying on eBay, Vinted and charity shops it pays to know your brands.

TU, F&F, George & Nutmeg ae Sainsburys, Tesco, Asda & Morrisons.

TU clothing is pretty good quality and I'd match their jersey dresses against Monsoon any time.

I've noticed the same with candles.
I looked at a pair in a charity shop, boxed, with a name I'd never heard of and it turned out to be Dunelm.
    Not worth the price.

Reselling at a profit is what is happening when you are in Tesco or Sainsburys as well. It's just that the "cloak" is removed for a second on eBay and you see how the trick works. Do you think the supermarkets supply you for any other reason than profit?

It seems like a strange thing to criticise.

If the op, or anyone for that matter, had something to sell, wouldn't they try and sell it for as much as they could, irrespective of what price they initially paid?

Take it a stage further, you buy a house, don't you at some later stage hope to sell it at a profit, sometimes a very large profit? I don't think anyone would think, 'Oh, we only bought the house for £X amount 10 years ago, we'll just put it on the market for £X amount again.' If there's a chance of making a profit, why wouldn't you?
