Vax Part Identity

Hello everyone,
I wasn't too sure where to post this!

I have a VAX Airlift Steerable, Pet Max, vacuum cleaner. The part which holds the removable tube to the main body of the machine has sheared off and it is now unusable (unless I use the hose part only!).

I've tried searching for the name of this part and really struggled so thought I'd call on the collective wisdom on here - you've never let me down before!

Have you checked out the makers' spares website - or asked them directly with the pictures you have taken?

I tried looking through the whole website and couldn't see that at all. I tried their WhatsApp helpline and they were next to useless - waited for phone calls back and in the end (in desperation) I started this thread!

Thanks TimeLord1 - I bought have just bought it from Ebay as Vax was showing as out of stock.

You will save money I'm certain that was the cheapest price. It pays to part out vacuum cleaners some people make a living doing it.
