Sidekick easy access savings account - issues transferring money in to new account

I just tried to move some money from my Santander account to my new Sidekick easy access savings account. My bank detected this as potential fraud and stopped the transfer, and blocked my account! I called them and the guy did some quick searches on Sidekick (he'd never heard of it) and quoted a few trust pilot reviews that weren't great. This rather put me off doing the transfer. He suggested do a transfer for a small amount and see what happens, but the minimum amount is £5K. Anyway, I am less keen than I was now and wonder if others have similar problems trying to transfer money into their new Sidekick savings account.

So Santander are now making decisions on whether to block their customers' access to their own funds (or not) by call centre staff looking at Trustpilot reviews?

And there was me thinking they had sophisticated AI-powered algorithms and security staff trained to spot subtle and nefarious fraudulent criminal activity.
If Trustpilot is the arbiter of truth then whilst they're at it they should suggest the OP closes their Santander accounts as well:

That is the 'Post of the month', if not the whole year!

Santander fraud staff aren't interested in 'protecting your money', all they care about is protecting the bank from the ridiculous compensation claims they are now obliged to pay to idiots who'll transfer their money to the safe account or whatever suggested by the complete stranger on the other end of the phone.

I must admit, I gave them a 1 star review.
I opened an account, but could not work out how to fund said pot or account.
Emailed them and the reply did not help or give instructions so gave up.
I have 30 plus accounts, Bank, Building society, Regular savers ( 19 ), App only etc.
All simple and easy to fund but not Sidekick.
Santander do no help either, What a surprise.

First Direct blocked my initial transfer to Sidekick and their fraud team asked quite a few issues but went through ok after that.

Has anyone managed to locate the daily interest amount in the Sidekick app? I can see interest earned to date but nothing about the actual daily interest (interest info says accrued every day but only applied from Sunday through to Thursday).
