transferred to edf advice

hi all can any edf customers advise me
ive just been transferred to edf this  morning, the websidte has allowed me to put my gas meter reading in but not my electric
i've had a email saying both have now been transferred
also advice req when i was with octopus i never had to put meter readings in the bill was always generated on the 1st of the month via a smart reading, will that still be the case or will it be generated when i put a meter reading in 
and final thing the octopus app always showed me live usage will the edf app also show me that 
also i have given octopus my final meter readings

    Did you initiate the transfer yourself, did your previous supplier go bust, erroneous transfer?
    i've had a email saying both have now been transferred
    also advice req when i was with octopus i never had to put meter readings in the bill was always generated on the 1st of the month via a smart reading, will that still be the case or will it be generated when i put a meter reading in 
    You do not need to be able to put the reading in, but make sure you have a picture of the meter read for reference in case there are any issues. Going forward billing should be based on smart meter reads.

    When you say live usage, do you mean via the Octopus Home Mini? If so then no, EDF will not. EDF will at best show half hour reads, but they are often delayed by at least a day.
