Loop App - Bizarre Gas Usage Report

So my Octopus electric and gas meters have not been communicating with the Octopus hub since the end of March 2025. An engineer visited today to reboot both meters. After doing whatever was necessary, he advised me that it might take several days for things to return to normal.
Just out of interest, I checked my Loop app this evening and was shocked to see that my gas usage in terms of cost amounts to £341,099 and usage of 4,894,526kWh.
There is still nothing showing on my Octopus online account.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on please?

I had a similar thing with Loop last month, where it gave me an impossible usage of 753,013kwh on April 4th. I emailed them about it and they replied that they have a system in place to automatically dismiss erroneous readings like these but clearly it didn't work this time, and that they would feed back to the development team
