The match has been rescheduled from its original date, Sunday 18 May, due to City's participation in the FA Cup final. But there’s more to this game than just the thrill of football. This match marks an emotional departure for one of City's greatest players, Kevin De Bruyne.
After providing a decade of breathtaking service and countless memorable moments, the Belgian maestro will be bidding adieu to his beloved Etihad this summer. The Bournemouth clash will not just be City's last Premier League home match of the 2024/25 season, but also King Kev’s final Etihad appearance for the club. It promises to be an emotionally-charged event as players, staff and fans alike will have the opportunity to say their goodbyes and express their gratitude for all he has done for the club since joining in 2015.
A special post-match presentation is scheduled with Kevin, where he will address the crowd one last time. This is your chance to be a part of this momentous occasion. You will need to be quick, the competition closes on the 16th of May at 12:00 (noon)!
