currys assistant sold me a digital camera from the display without mentioning it when it was opened at xmas it became obvious it was display as was scratched and fingerprints on the screen.

Had to take it back boxing day and was unable to use and enjoy xmas day not happy.

    I ordered one on Christmas day, it arrived yesterday and was obviously a return that had been repackaged :mad:

    The box had been opened, none of the accessories were in their plastic bags and there are scratches on the camera body!

    The "policy" is for them to send me a returns label which takes 1-3 days then I phone the courier to come and collect it. When they get it back then they will send a replacement which will take anoher 5 working days, so in reality it will probably be another 2 weeks before I get a replacement.

    Or at least it would have been if I hadn't told the drone to cancel the whole thing lol
  • I sent my Fuji finepix to be repaired under guarantee last year as it was taking blank photographs. It was in A1 condition and well wrapped. When it was returned by Fuji it came back with 2 dents to the casing and a scratch to the rear screen. I was fobbed off when I complained. The problem came back and I have just bought a better camera with a much higher spec. for less than the fuji.

    im complaining i have an e mail address. Its terrible and the attitude in the shop is so blase (sp)

    Currys customer service is awful - you're right they don't care:eek:....I try to avoid shopping there. Vote with your feet:mad:

    write to their head office for the ceo enclosing a copy of your email and send it by recorded delivery

    unless your using pop3 email and server deleivery they always state "they never recived it"
