COOP Regular Saver

I've mistakenly paid too much into my COOP Reg Saver this month.  Will the whole payment bounce back or just the amount over the limit?  How long is that likely to take does someone know?

I mistakenly did this last year - made an extra payment of £250 within the same month. The second payment was bounced back to my Coop current account (not the account that I sent it from). And I think there was a warning that if I did it again they would close the account. The original £250 payment stayed in the regular saver.

Yes I forgot momentarily though it was clearly written on my spreadsheet that I'd already made a previous payment of £125. So my payment today takes it £125 over .

How long did it take for the payment to bounce back in your case please?

I think it was immediate. But I didn't notice it for a couple of days because they transferred it to my Coop current account (which I don't use) instead of the Natwest account that I'd sent the payment from. Coop statement says it all happened on the same day.
