Paying CCJ from the claims guys for PPI

Hi all

Is anyone able to help please? My husband had a CCJ from repayments claimed yrs ago from the claims guys. We want to pay it off to re mortgage however we're unable to locate them. The only claims guys we've found is a legal firm amd it's not them. They have an answerphone for contacting the ppi firm (of the same name) so I thinking we're not the first trying to contact them.

However we've not had a reply to out email and we'd like to get it sorted ASAP. Does anyone happen to have a contact please? It'd save us a lot of stress if so!

Huge thanks Joy

The Claims Guys and The Claims Guys Legal operate from the same address with the same officers. There was a company called The Claim Guys which was dissolved in 2020.  What date was the CCJ applied ?

Even if you did manage to pay it off it would still be shown on your file but as settled nearly six years after the event. I suspect settling it now would have little to no change on its effect on your ability to remortgage anyway.  I think you are just going to have to wait it out this late in the day.
