I opened this account on Wednesday evening with Monument Bank. I knew from opening an earlier one that you got the account number within a couple of minutes, and that faster payments received right up to midnight were credited the same day. So, I made the FP in bed at about 11:10 (from Santander). In the morning, I woke up to a notification telling me interest had been paid, and found that it must have happened at midnight. I was most impressed and quite smug knowing that this was on top of the interest I knew I had secured that day with Santander😁, and also reassured to find that it worked out to exactly the 4.66% pa they pay for monthly interest. Unlike Santander, they don't allow screenshots...

Annoying also that once bumped you have to mark the forum read in order to stop it from showing as unread. If a thread gets no replies in these parts, it's usually for good reason.0
