Bank paid me interest within an hour of funding new a/c

I opened this account on Wednesday evening with Monument Bank. I knew from opening an earlier one that you got the account number within a couple of minutes, and that faster payments received right up to midnight were credited the same day. So, I made the FP in bed at about 11:10 (from Santander). In the morning, I woke up to a notification telling me interest had been paid, and found that it must have happened at midnight. I was most impressed and quite smug knowing that this was on top of the interest I knew I had secured that day with Santander😁, and also reassured to find that it worked out to exactly the 4.66% pa they pay for monthly interest. Unlike Santander, they don't allow screenshots...

Did it bump again? I was hoping the one after a couple of days would be the only one. Annoying also that once bumped you have to mark the forum read in order to stop it from showing as unread.

If a thread gets no replies in these parts, it's usually for good reason.
