I received a letter on the 06/05/2025
Stating they tried to contact me at my old address on the 21/04/2025
Saying I had a parking charge for 125.00 . On the 11/01/2024.
Does not state why. But it was in a Tesco's carpark.
I am disabled and all I can think of it must of been for staying to long.
I tried to call them but they did not answer. It was ringing for approximately 8 minutes.
I want to dispute this. But if I register on their web site. Is that classed as admittance.
Thanx

It is illegal under the Equality Act 2010 to hold a disabled person to the same fixed time limit that applies to able bodied drivers.Chapelhatpegs said:I received a letter on the 06/05/2025

Did you realise this is illegal discrimination?
STOP TRYING TO RING GLADSTONES!
DO NOT SPEAK TO THEM.
Just complain to Tesco Head Office in Dundee and tell them this is illegal discrimination under the Equality Act 2010 and it's causing you immense distress.
Tell Tesco they MUST tell their agent to cancel the PCN.
As for Gladstones, send the LBC reply that's in the NEWBIES thread - confirming your correct address - plus add some extra words and a copy of your Blue Badge and tell them you are complaining to Tesco because this is illegal discrimination.
And finally, get your logbook out. It's got your old address on it, hasn't it? Eek!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
