District Enforcement Limited PCN - Should I Appeal?

Options
There were no parking spaces left at a train station last week so the car was parked on the street at the entrance. There were no lines on the road and there was no signage saying not to park there. The car was not blocking any dropped curbs, and I was parked there before the other 2 cars parked in front and behind me. The car behind was parked over a dropped curb so if it was parked there, I would understand the PCN.

Please see the photo here, the car that I got the PCN for is the middle one, pointed at with the red arrow.

Should I appeal this or is this a fair PCN? I'm leaning towards appeal as there was no clear signage stating not to park there and no lines on the road to indicate not to park.

This is my first time dealing with District Enforcement Limited, any help would be appreciated.

    Kerb not 'curb' (that's American).

I would completely ignore any IPC firm because there's no real appeal. It's a farce paid for by the industry and operates for and in the interests of the PPCs.

This lot aren't currently litigious but you'd fare better defending a small claim than wasting your time on the kangaroo court of the joke appeal offered by this lot.

    NO PAYING IT, OBVIOUSLY.

Tell them if you move house of course.

That's it. Come back if ever you get a claim. Don't show us the tedious £170 letter chain.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
