I do it all the time. I too, have too many pictorial stamps to use. But I write in bold under the stamps what service I am using ied 2nd class large letter and sometimes I highlight it in yellow marker. So far no problems. Recently I found all my 2nd class letters/large letters have reached in 2 days.

I sent a few , about 13, and did get one INR , I’ve no way of knowing whether it was lost or a false claim though. I did have POP but didn’t reclaim the loss from RM on that occasion as items was a business sale and actually cost me less than £1 which is all I would have been able to claim back.
I do generally get a high number of INRs using RM though regardless of whether I send via eBay SD or use eBay LL post for custom items.
