Parking ticket ?!

I feel a little duped. Have made mistakes before and happily paid my fine but this feels a little hard to swallow. Parked a considerable way out from an event to make sure I wasn't parking on the single or double yellows or where parking suspended signs were but still got done for section 27 parking adjacent to a dropped footway! Why do the lines stop there ? It's a dropped kerb to nowhere! I honestly didn't think l was doing anything wrong. Do I stand any chance appealing this?

I assume that this is a council matter, so I strongly suggest that you post your query over on the FTLA parking forum website after reading their posting requirements first1

All depends if there was also a dropped kerb opposite. But FTLA forum (Google it) is the place for you, not an MSE forum board.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
