Does section 75 cover a dodgy holiday booking?

For the avoidance of doubt, it's just the cards you are hoping to cancel in the future? Given you have commented on a thread about making dodgy holiday bookings your comment could be read as it's the product/service you've paid for that you want to cancel instead/aswell. If that is the case then you would have to have booked something with cancellation rights... if its just a pure change of mind and you have no cancellation rights under the contract there would be no S75 claim irrespective of if the account is open or closed. Some seem to think S75 is a get out of jail free card whereas its not, it simply gives you another party you can chase.0 -

Just make sure if closing the cards. That you print off a statement showing the debit.
Some CC's have been known to say. You need to prove this was on our card & we will not search for a transaction.Life in the slow lane0 -
