Swiss Francs advice

Hi we need to give holiday letting agent over 1000 Swiss francs in cash ( returnable deposit) when we arrive at accommodation. Any advice about how to withdraw this large amount cheaply and quickly . Think I can only withdraw 300 on my card each day

I recently faced a similar problem in Berlin... after explaining the problem, the equivalent amount in Sterling banknotes turned out to be acceptable. Try suggesting this.
Although why a legitimate business cannot simply authorise a credit card is really beyond me.1 -
