Morning again - I've been browsing online newspapers and muttering to myself about the articles. The coach trip home was so long. The timetable changed mid-March and the bus I normally get now goes to the airport, this shouldn't be a problem but the bank holiday weekend brought chaos to the motorway with long, though slowly moving, traffic from the junction to right over the bridge. Then the jams continued until way past Loch Lomond until a lot of cars peeled off to head up the other way. By the time I reached home the bus was over half an hour late. The upside was that I was comfortable, well, mostly, and had great views. I then collected my car and was home by 4.00p.m. Now I'm contemplating getting the earlier bus next time.My 'help my poor nails' regime goes on. Yesterday I soaked them in warm jojoba oil which was very comforting if a bit messy. Even my hand appreciated the oil. It's certainly made me think twice about doing the gels again.Today the sun is out, bravely trying to overcome the cold nippy north wind which is just not taking the hint and leaving. I probably should cut the grass though more likely leave it until tomorrow. I have some tasty cauliflower cheese with salady stuff for lunch later.Great news @DP1. Tea and cake in a cathedral sounds perfect @WL. @Carolbee - was Kerry Godliman good?Hugs to all - off to get some Vit D!9

Morning all
Bright and sunny here although slightly cooler I still have some planting to do so will do that later, the quiz was great fun last night we didn’t win or even get runner up but we really enjoyed the evening, I have to go and collect my car later which I left at my sisters and let her dog out for a wee, sister and partner have gone to a football match at Brighton neither of them are into football but a friend of theirs has a private box and they get a three course lunch and unlimited drinks with waitress service so it will be an experience for them.
We will bbq later this evening so I will make some salads up we also have some asparagus from my sisters garden which was picked yesterday so that will be tasty.
Wm is on with OH work clothes and another load to go in after, dogs to be walked later and then a rest in the afternoon.
Rosy have a great time we went before to corfu but only for an overnight trip before going to Paxos if you get a chance go on a boat trip to Anti Paxos it’s beautifully stunning.
Have good days all and take care xx10 -
