Good morning all
Thank you for the start @Gers
Feels very chilly this morning, haven't been outside yet.
Forecast is for rain tomorrow so I'll try and mow the lawn.

Morning allSunny but breezy here. Temperature is definitely down.DH found some very old documents and photos etc in one of the packing cases while clearing the garage yesterday. They'd been there since we moved in over 30 odd years ago! Amongst them were some old school reports of mine. Steady but slow seems to be how I was doing at school! Also among them was a page from 1957 local newspaper about my mum and dad and myself being evicted from our home as my dad left his job on the railway so lost the accommodation that went with it! Memories eh!Have a good day all x11

Morning All
May the 4th be with you! Thanks for the start Gers, hope it warms up. Glad you enjoyed the show.
The sun is shining but it's much cooler today. Some living room throws in the WM, yesterday's washing was dry by 12 and all put away.
I went for a swim yesterday morning and really enjoyed it so will go again this morning. Visited the allotment to plant out some peas and beans and then went to Ikea for a wander and a £1 veggie meatball meal with a pal. Also went to Sainsburys and bought some clothes which all fit so that's good.
Pleased to hear you're on the mend Suffolksue and can drive again.
Had to laugh at Esben being late for school snoozer!
Today I'm going with some friends to The Barras in Glasgow, it's years since I went and has probably changed somewhat.
Hope you can all enjoy a peaceful Sunday. Take care. XX

Morning all and thanks for the start @Gers. Happy Star Wars day to you too @camelot 😊
Sunny here. I’m taking Mum food shopping then it’s a day of painting for me. DD’s ceiling and walls need a base wash coat on the new plaster. Will be messy so I’ve set aside a carrier bag for my head! DD would help but has a date - good timing!
Washing is on with another load to go on after. Will all go on the line to dry. Dinner is an easy tuna pasta bake later.Gosh sounds like L and B will really miss the help when they move out @snoozer. Don’t blame you for stepping back a bit.Good that you can get out and about @Suffolksue
Enjoy your day out @camelot1001
Happy Sunday everyone

Morning everyone
Cloudy and cooler here this morning - I'm itching to get on with some planting but waiting till the summer house is built and I can get everything tidied away. The wood has been delivered to my front garden, hopefully it will be all done by next weekend.
Little one stayed on Friday night and didn't wake up till 6.45 yesterday morning which was lovely! We went down to a park on the sea front yesterday and took a picnic lunch, it was sunny but with a cold wind off the North Sea! She had a great play and then we warmed up with a hot chocolate at a new cafe . Her new feeding regime is going well and there have been no emergencies in the last week....fingers crossed now I've said that.
I'll go down to mam and dads this morning and then I'm planning on having a lazy afternoon.
Congratulations on your 25 years Camelot...it must be more than 30 years since I was at the Barras x
Hope everyone has a good day x10 -
Morning all, thanks Gers. It's bright and sunny but 6deg. atm- bit of a changeHope you enjoyed your visitors yesterday Scarlet. We haven't seen DGD for a while,& she's not stayed over at DS much, staying for a sleepover with her friends instead. I suppose that's teenagers for you. She didn't come to the match with us yesterday & DGS is away for the weekend. We had a curry last night. Not too sure about later but there is stuff in the fridge, not a roast though.@RedRuby, we're a month earlier than you for Corfu, we go in 2 weeks
. I've been busy sorting hol stuff and bought a few clothes, as it's 3 years since we were last abroad. Went to the retail park on Friday for a mooch on my own,DH dropped me off so I could take my time
. Quite enjoyed myself, doesn't happen much these days with DH being at home a lot more.
Glad you're ok @Suffolksue.Enjoy your trip @camelot1001 hope everyone else has a good day.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)8 -
Morning all. Bright and sunny so far and I've just hung out the washing.
Busy times here; I'm just back from Rochester Sweeps Festival last night, which was crowded as usual. Went for tea and cake in the Cathedral cafe before driving home and bumped into my cousin so we had a bit of a catch up.
Today I'm cooking things for DD's 40th birthday picnic tomorrow. I've just decided we also need strawberries(!) so will go and get some in a while.
Hope everyone has a nice day and it warms up a bit
