    Are you sure that it is a party wall rather than your wall?

    They might believe it is your wall hence your weeds.

    Either way it is not a party wall dispute unless you make it such, just odd neighbours

    That is what I was thinking. Maybe the neighbour is not aware it is a party wall.
    Usually garden walls/ fences are the responsibility of one side or the other, although it is often not very clear.
