    Hi @Gr1pr

    Thank you for your response.

    1. That's correct. I moved to a new address around July 2025 and, unfortunately, I wasn't aware that I needed to notify Park Direct Ltd or Moorside Legal of my change of address. It's therefore possible that any correspondence they sent was delivered to my previous address and never reached me. Additionally, my car was towed, and I surrendered it to the DVLA/towing company on 6 December 2025.
    2. Since I moved out in July 2025, I'm not sure whether any Letter Before Claim from Moorside Legal was sent to my previous address. I may be able to visit my old address and see if there's any post addressed to me that is still there.
    3. Similarly, I'm not aware of receiving an N1SDT court claim pack from the Civil National Business Centre. Nothing has been delivered to my current address.

Please let me know if you need any further information from me or if there is anything else I should do at this stage.

    Hi @Gr1pr,

Just a quick update, I visited my previous address today to check for any post addressed to me, but there were no letters in my name. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any Letter Before Claim or court claim documents there.

I would be very grateful for your advice on the best course of action from here. Thank you again for your time and assistance.

You knew you were awaiting a Court Claim form, yet you didn't think to email them your new address? This CCJ was bound to happen; telling them your new address was common sense. This is a car crash outcome.

It will cost £313 to apply to set it aside. You can ask the judge to award that fee back from the Claimant though. This is a longish process and the CCJ is not frozen or wiped until a judge agrees (which they will, due to the old address). So the CCJ will be removed.

The above is the harsh reality but do not get despondent, nor rush to pay the CCJ off this month because there might be another way, if Moorside can be persuaded to settle for less.

Bear with us. Remind me in ten days.

Thanks for your clear explanation. I appreciate you taking the time to explain the situation.

Looking back, I can see that I should have notified them of my change of address. At the time, I genuinely wasn't aware that I needed to do so, and unfortunately that has led to this situation.

I'll hold off on making any payment for now and will come back to you in ten days as you've suggested. Thanks again for your guidance.
