Morning all

Slightly overcast here and rain due later I have some washing out so will keep an eye on it. We are off to a quiz tonight in aid of a friends dog rescue place should be a good evening they provide a ploughman’s as part of the fee but I will go out and get some nibbles to take and some booze quite looking forward to it.

Camelot congratulations on the 25 years your comment about the plants made me chuckle 😂 I have a few to pot up today so will get that done this morning.

Housework to do later but it’s not too bad as I did loads yesterday just needs a quick tidy.

Rosy when are you going to Corfu ? I think you said you were going there. DD and I are going on the 25th June.

@snoozer - My sister once went with me on a trip when she only had one child and left her husband in charge. When she got home after a week away, the house was a disaster - dirty dishes, clothes, everything piled up. He said "I can't take care of the W and do the housework too." She replied in very strong words that he expected her to all of the time. For several years after that, each time she took a trip, he hired a maid service to come in and clean the day before she came home. When she wanted the house clean, she would plan a trip with her friends (by that time they had two children).
