Energy Refund
I have contacted Britih Gas three times to request a refund on my account.
I am £1045 in credit and they have given me a different excuse each time.
I cannot claim a refund 3 days before my next payment and 3 days after the payment is confirmed.
Now they are saying my account as to be checked by their billing department which will take
7 working days.Any advice gained by past experience would be appreciated

I'm not sure there is much to suggest, refusing a refund when they are just about to bill you makes sense.If it is a large refund then it will need to be signed-off before it is issued.0

You could switch to someone else - they have to pay you then. Watch out for exit fees thoughNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
