Saving to help with children house deposits

Myself and my wife are in our early 50s and debt free, with sons in their early 20s.
For last few years, have been saving in various isas, bonds etc with view to using some of this money to hopefully in the future help contribute to our sons' house deposits.
Currently we have £100K saved but was wondering whether there's better methods I should be using for such saving.
Ideas and suggestions much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.

Have you considered giving them money for a LISA? They pay in £4k per annum & government adds another £1k. Can be used for 1st home purchase after 12 months, or towards retirement. As they’re in their early 20s, I would involve them in these sort of discussions. Are they still in education? Working? Wanting to travel?3

If the deposits are likely to be needed in a few years, than cash savings are better. Can be Cash ISAs, other saving accounts, Premium Bonds etc.
Hopefully you are not neglecting your own retirement funds, pensions etc .1 -
