Debt recovery plus

Hi
I just wanted to ask some advice regarding a parking fine.  A family member parked at a local carpark.  He is a diabetic and was desperate to use the toilet.  He did get a ticket but he couldn't see the payment machine clearly due to insufficient lighting.  Therefore, he did not put in the correct car registration.  He put the ticket in his car, but received a fine.  He did appeal this and explained the situation.  He has not seen an email from the appeal.  He has since received a letter from Debt recovery plus saying he has not responded to previous letters - not received any and received 2 in the last week. They want now want £170.  He does not have the original parking ticket and I think this was a factor in the appeal. Is there anything else he can do?  It is so frustrating.

Why not just read the fourth post of NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST, where the pictures of the £170 tedious letters are?  Please don't show us these letters. This is a 'nothing' stage.

Come back when you get a LBC from DCB Legal, as we expect you've surely read about on the forum already (every second thread is about how easy these Euro Car Parks cases are to defend, so it's impossible not to have seen them when browsing the forum).
