Trading 212 Core interest rate

Hi
Myself and my partner recently opened cash isa’s with Trading 212. We are both still in the first month or two of opening. He gets a bonus on the core rate for a year, I get a bonus on the core rate for 3 months. My question is that our core rates are different! His account was opened first and the core rate has just been cut from 4.5% to 4.35% (after 1 month roughly from opening), mine in 4.5%. Surely a core rate is just that, it applies to all and is not different for different people. If the core rate can be arbitrarily varied per customer any time, then the bonuses become much less valuable.
Thoughts?

The rate changed yesterday. My account said 4 5% at the start of the day and went down to 4.35% later. I reckon yours will catch up with your partner's soon, though it's weird that everyone's rate didn't change at the same time...0

Don't find it weird at all with this product, it's been almost impossible to tie down exactly what terms it was offering at any one time since its proffer seems to differ according to the channel by which it was being accessed, the duration of holding, the day of the week and quite possibly the height of the applicant.clairec666 said:The rate changed yesterday. My interest rate dropped to 4.55% yesterday as I still have a 0.2% bonus attached and I’ve just checked my husband’s account and it’s still showing as 5.6%, no reduction as of yet.0

Must be a strain on their systems keeping up with all the different bonus rates people are getting 😉flaneurs_lobster said:

It seemed to change every 5 minutes last month!0 -
Can't honestly remember if it was 212, Chip or Zopa but at one point last month three contributors on here had open applications for the "same" product and were being offered three different rates at the same time.clairec666 said:

Makes comparison tables rather pointless.1
