Good morning, thanks for starting Gers.
The sun is here at the moment , but I don't know for how long - the weather is set to change.
I haven't posted for a day or two, been up and out early, hope everyone is ok.
I need to go to Aldi this morning so I'll go there soon as I can get myself organised.
Not much happening here, hope everyone has as good a day as they can.
Take care folks.
TA, just popped back to say I'm pleased that your BF's son's diagnosis is not as bad as expected. What a relief for them all14 -
Yesterday stayed hazy and overcast - today is not looking to be any better. The BIAB is off! My nails need some TLC so I'm slathering them in oil and hand cream to rehydrate them. It'll be interesting to see how they get on during this four month break, perhaps I won't go back. After that I drove up the road to have my ears done. It was back in January when the first treatment was so I was surprised that it needed done again. Mind you, the troublesome right ear was mostly clear, turns out that the left ear needed the work. The nurse said that my ears were very dry so I'm now oiling them too. I shall turn into one big oil patch at this rate.My closest friend's (in Darlington) beloved father died yesterday. I saw him when I was down at the start of April so sadly he's declined very quickly.Later this morning I'm off down to Glasgow on the bus for an overnight stay. Tonight I'm seeing Ellie Taylor at the theatre, I don't know her comedy work so am open for the new experience. Unfortunately, Milton Jones has cancelled his tour as he's unwell. Fortunately both the hotel and venue are refunding the costs. For now, it's monthly banking time. I got a little win from Premium Bonds which is always a joy.For now I wish everyone a good day and hope that our poorlies are doing well.

Morning all
GERS - enjoy your trip
Yesterday’s postal vote sorting was quick as it was the last day. I’m counting votes today - it’s just county council and some advisory ballots about ward changes so no idea of time scale.
I managed to get some wood cut for a craft order, clean some seat covers and make a batch of meatballs yesterday afternoon. Then in the evening made a cover for the mattress topper in the van.Happy Friday all - cooler and windier here.AA12 -
Morning everyone Gers enjoy your trip I’m off to do my volunteering soon this morning at the food waste this afternoon at the hospice charity shop I’ve taken a shepherds pie out of the freezer it’s just to heat through when I come in we still have sunshine but it’s meant to get cooler . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing12

Morning folks and thanks GERS. Safe travels to Glasgow. I like Ellie Taylor though I've not seen her live. It's marginally cooler here too this morning but the sun is still with us for the day (or so they say!) then it's downhill for the coming week.
I chose the wrong week for my caravan stay didn't I!. Not to worry, lots of books are packed to keep me occupied. All is packed apart from food but that's waiting in the fridge and freezer to pack at the last minute. We are leaving once DD has seen to her old lady. She is then staying overnight with me and leaving tomorrow morning. Then it's almost a rinse and repeat next weekend. She is coming back for me next Friday, staying overnight and then we are heading home Saturday morning. I must make the effort to get more use out of the 'van this summer (DD says the same) as what we pay for the annual site fees, services etc are getting silly.so we should really make more use of it.
I'll keep abreast of your news on my phone but sausage fingers don't allow for much waffling on it. Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all xx

Morning all, yes the sun has gone for here too & much cooler.Enjoy your stay in Glasgow Gers.I didnt get on yesterday, seemed to be a hectic day, picking up DGS early from school to get to a school on the other side of town ( which took ages ) for a football tournament. They won! Saw a few from his Saturday team there too, and what was lovely was they came to watch DGS in the final cheering him on. Very hot for them all though! The teacher who does sports brought some drinks for them and I'd taken plenty. He's away this weekend with all his DM family but we'll prob still go and support his team tomorrow anyway!I need to check the fridge - I think there are still some bbq bits that will need eating up. I may go up to the retail park and get a few toiletries for our hols.TA, I was very glad to hear the news from Aus, they must be so relieved.SO, hugs to you.Right better get going, have a good day all.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning everyone
I seem to have missed yesterday - I went into town briefly before work and then school gardening club after work with little one, then had tea with her and DD. She wasn't impressed as it turned out to be pulling weeds and dead plants from planters that should really have been sorted after last summer, so we'll see if she wants to go back next week.
Afterwards she showed me how well she can ride her new bigger bike great grandad bought her . It's been a good week for her - 4 days at school, she's at her play therapist today.
TA - very good news for your friend, but awful they were given so much to worry about. Enjoy your time in the caravan.
Enjoy your day everyone and hope there's sunshine, must get sorted as I need to go down to mam and dads before work x

Hello all, we didn't have any rain yesterday so it must have missed us. Today we still have the sun and it is more breezy but should get up to 22 degrees.
All the washing dried lovely yesterday but it's yet be to be put away so that's one of today's tasks. Today we're expecting a few deliveries for the 3D printer plus a new watch strap for me as mine has started to irritate me and I end up with an itchy red rash on my wrist.
Right better do something and not waste the day !!
TA have a good break at the van.
Gers enjoy your theatre break.
SO hugs.
Take care all, hugs to the poorly ones and "Hello" to those reading along but not posting often.
nan xx
