i would have jumped to fuse but its not dual fuel was the downside
i will keep an eye on it if they add gas to there tariffs
also ive had word back from octopus and they dont match other suppliers prices only what is on displayed on there website
its working out i'm on agile avg price per kwh 17.5pkwh but higher sc and tou, with new edf deal lower standing charge but higher unit price working out the same as agile, but now i wont have to worry about tou and also slightly lower gas unit price and sc untill sept26 was added into my new figures to compensate the higher electric unit

I am only sticking with octo until i find out what is happening come July with the price cap, then i suspect i will be moving because up here in Glasgow Octopus are now the supplier with the highest daily standing charge, while British gas are offering a 51p a day compared to Octo 56p, and that is on the tracker taroff, agile is still 63p a day.I never though BG would be a cheaper option than Octo, but i guess now Octo are the biggest suppler they no longer need to be competitive, but ironically i suspect so many people left BG that they now have to offer a cheaper price. ha0

What gremlins would you factor in. I know fuse are moving to gas too in June but the price of fuse is goodwrf12345 said:Fixed Fuse is 20 percent lower s/c and ten percent lower unit rate than fixed Octopus so a good deal for all, nice to see some more competition out there. Albeit with a £50 exit fee. Still sticking with Octopus as there are too many gremlins in the various systems to make changing worthwhile at the moment.1 -
I had a quick look at the variable option and while Fuse's standing charge is a penny cheaper (46.6p), their unit prices are higher than the current Octopus 12m fix in my region. Like you I'm reluctant to take on exit fees, given I'm almost certainly going to need another change ahead of the winter months. The Smart EV tariff is interesting, though I don't have an EV.wrf12345 said:Fixed Fuse is 20 percent lower s/c and ten percent lower unit rate than fixed Octopus so a good deal for all, nice to see some more competition out there.
